Wimble Toot

Wimble Toot is a Bowl Barrow just outside the Somerset village of Babcary reached via the A37 ( itself following the Fosse Way, roman road ) following the 'b' road to Babcary. The barrow itself is now becoming overgrown with trees and the surrounding ditch is mostly filled in. Measuring approx 3 meters in diameter and nearly as high it would have been a feature as the surrounding landscape is fairly flat. As a listed National Monument it is a pity it's not been preserved better.
