Kingston Russell Stone Circle

Kingston Russell stone circle has eighteen stones layed out in a thirty meter circle. It is presumed that the stones were once standing and you can still see most of the surrounding ditch. English Heritage think the site is late Neolithic or Bronze Age. The site can be reached via the same footpath/bridal way used in visiting the Gray Mare and her Colts or other footpaths from Long Bredy and Little Bredy although i am unsure of the parking and the distances involved if walking from that way. The walk will be over a mile though as the site really is in the middle of no where.
